I love using a heart rate monitor when I work out. I am numbers person so it is really cool for me to use a fitness monitor and keep track of how far you walked or ran, or at what rate did you get your heart going. To me it is really a lot easier to stay motivated and look at the hard numbers. It is really cool to look at a log over the course of 2 weeks or 2 months and see how your numbers line up. It is truly the best way to keep track of exactly what you are doing and if you need to do anything more while working out.
